Default My Assasin Build

Ok, I wanted to try something different from the aod spiker so I tried this and it works pretty good imo. You are also left with more to work with in damage.

My Character10

Assassin
Level: 20

Critical Strikes: 8 (7+1)
Dagger Mastery: 15 (12+3)
Shadow Arts: 12 (10+2)

- Leaping Mantis Sting (Dagger Mastery)
If Mantis Sting hits, target foe takes +20 damage. If this attack strikes a moving foe, that foe is Crippled for 15 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:8

- Jungle Strike (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow a lead attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +20 damage. If it hits a foe that was Crippled, it does +31 damage.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:10

- Horns of the Ox (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, Horns of the Ox strikes for +30 damage. If struck foe is not adjacent to any allies, that foe is knocked down.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:12

- Falling Spider (Dagger Mastery)
Must strike a knocked-down foe. If it hits, Falling Spider strikes for +35 damage and target foe is Poisoned for 20 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:8

- Blades of Steel (Dagger Mastery)
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +14 damage (maximum bonus 50) for each recharging dagger attack.
Energy:5 Cast:0 Recharge:20

- Shadow of Haste (Shadow Arts)
For 17 seconds you move 25% faster than normal. When Shadow of Haste ends, you return to the location where you activated this skill.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:30

- Shadow Refuge (Shadow Arts)
For 4 seconds, you gain 9 Health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 68 Health if you are attacking.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:8

- Heart of Shadow (Shadow Arts) OR any type of res.
Shadow Step to a random nearby location. For 60 seconds, the next time you take damage you are healed for 75 Health.
Energy:5 Cast:0.25 Recharge:15

I subbed aod out for shadow of haste(i like this shadow of haste more anyways) and the rest is dmg and healing. You can still zip in and out with it, just not as much. I dont like how my build requires no elite though, seems like a wasted oppourtunity. Any suggestions welcome. Many thanks to the people that work on GWFreaks (www.gwfreaks.com) for the build exporter.

nice idea. I like cramming in 2-3 dual attacks in my bar and ending with Blades of Steel because i can solo warriors with mending by the time my chain of attacks is over.

Im wondering if takeing out Horns of the Ox and Falling Spider and putting in Twisting Fangs and some Elite Offhand would work better. Seeing as your using SoH to get in, you may not find a target that isnt near an enemy for Horns to work properly.

Nice build

When I think about it, I can use Mobius Strike to chain up for the final blow.

Maybe something like, sting, strike, death blossom, mobius, then twisting fangs.
Still gotta cap mobius strike though. They need more areas for that cap >.<

If I end up doing sting, strike, twisting, mobius and then blades of steel, it might lose the deep wound surprise and compromise the kill.

Ps: Btw is Mobius Strike far into the game to cap? Im currently trying todo night raiders... but I cant do much with henchies.

Mobius is in the eternal grove explorable area, basically, 3 missions from the end of the game.

Replace horns of the ox with Iron palm, still knocks down and not reliant on nearby foes and still allows the lead into the falling spider for the poison.

So Im guessing Mobius Strike is the Hundred Blades of the Assasin...

I tried using iron palm, and it still works but theres a problem with it needing a condition, sometimes my opponents just stand there(dunno why) So it wont work sometimes, So I subbed in Jagged Strike.... less effective but it can almost guarantee the chain being completed.

Yeah that was my bad, I forgot that Iron palm required a condition, If your black mantis doesn't hit because target is not moving then your conditon doesn't exist.
Another combo I like using is Jagged strike, then Leaping Mantis, jungle strike, then Iron palm to give an escape chance and recharge. Could also add death blossom or critical strike for an added dual attack before Iron palm, but kinda fills the bar with alot of attack and only 3 spots left for teleport or defensive. Although teleport can be counted as defense.

I use
golden phoenix strike (skip the lead)
horns of the ox (knockdown)
falling spider (poison)
twisting fangs (bleed + deep wound)

as my attack skills. Works for me
